Undergraduate

The School of Engineering and Innovation contributes to a broad range of undergraduate qualifications in engineering, design, technology, environmental management and related interdisciplinary subjects.

Our teaching draws on the research, scholarship and professional experience of School staff. It is designed to develop practical knowledge alongside analytical, creative and problem-solving skills that students can apply in the workplace and wider society.

Undergraduate qualifications

We manage or contribute to flexible, nested qualifications that allow students to work towards a certificate, diploma or degree. Depending on the subject and qualification chosen, students can explore areas including:

  • Engineering
  • Design and innovation
  • Environmental management and sustainability
  • Systems thinking
  • Technology and innovation

Some of our qualifications are accredited by professional bodies and are designed to reflect relevant professional and vocational requirements. Full accreditation details, entry requirements, module choices and current availability are provided on the individual qualification pages.
