We offer a range of undergraduate degrees and modules in computing and communications, including foundation degrees and degrees with another subject. We also provide a range of specialist taught masters degrees and research degrees.
We have a wide range of research interests, with a common theme of effectively integrating technology into our lives, addressing real individual and social issues to enhance human experience.
The School of Computing & Communications brings together a diverse academic community who are passionate about delivering world-leading teaching, research and scholarship in computing and communications. Through these activities, we aim to empower our students, their employers and society in general to develop and use digital technologies to solve the problems of the future.
The school has around 80 academic and research staff and 30 research students. Most of them are at the main campus in Milton Keynes, with others in various locations throughout the UK. We have many associate lecturing staff across the UK, supporting our undergraduate and masters students.
We offer degrees and modules in a range of topics, including programming, social implications of computing, networking, software engineering, human-computer interaction, and many others. Our Industrial Advisory Board ensures that these qualifications are up-to-date and relevant to the current market.
