Professional biography

I am a Lecturer of Pure Mathematics. I obtained my PhD from the Open University and have also worked at the University of Barcelona, University of Warsaw, IMPAN, MSRI and University of Liverpool.

Research interests

My research focuses on Complex Dynamics and Complex Analysis. I am particularly interested in the iteration of transcendental entire functions.

Together with Dan Rust we organise the Dynamical Systems seminar series.

I am one of the organisers of the 4-week INI programme "Complex Dynamics: Interactions and Influences".

Student research bursary

In summer 2025 I supervised the undergraduate research project "Euler's real exponential sequence" carried out by Michael Lan. An English translation of Euler's paper "De formulis exponentialibus replicatis" can be found here. Michael's notes on his work on the project can be found here.
