In my talk I will present different work streams and results of the Digital Enterprise Research Institute in Galway, ranking from Semantic Social Software over the Semantic Desktop to Sensor Networks. DERI has been setup to conduct research on emerging topic on the Web and over the last couple has developed into a highly visible institute.
We are also inviting top experts in AI and Knowledge Technologies to discuss major socio-technological topics with an audience that comprises both members of the Knowledge Media Institute, as well as the wider staff at The Open University. Differently from our seminar series, these events follow a Q&A format.
